Heard Sri Ritesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents- State.
Sri R.P. Shukla, learned counsel has appeared for Gaon Sabha. Notice need not be sent private respondents, at this stage.
It is contended that the proceedings for demarcation is pending consideration since 2016 and a direction be issued to respondent no.2 to conclude the said proceedings expeditiously.
As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, with the consent of the parties, the matter is being disposed of at this stage without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no.2-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ballia to conclude the proceedings of Case No.4815 of 2016 (Computerized Case No.T201615959034815), Gagan Vs. Satyadev, if there is no legal impediment and after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law by reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of copy of this order, downloaded from the official website of Allahabad High Court.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
