In terms of the order dated 29.1.2021, Smt. Maya Gupta is present in the Court and has been identified by her counsel. Upon a query, she has given a voluntary statement that she married to the applicant Dabloo alias Jitendra and is living happily and they are blessed with two children. She argues that she was not abducted and had gone on her own free will and volition.
In view of the said statement made before the Court today, the application is allowed and the entire criminal proceedings of Case No. 610 of 2008 (Dabloo Vs. State of U.P.), under Sections 363 & 366 IPC, Police Station Medawal, District Sant Kabir Nagar pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate/concerned Court, Sant Kabir Nagar are quashed.
