JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Vedpal,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate.
Under challenge in the instant writ petition is FIR relating to Case Crime No.706 of 2009 under Sections 364, 342 and 323 I.P.C. and under Section 2/3 of U.P. Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, Police Station Naka Hindola, District Lucknow. We have gone through the contents of the FIR and other documents annexed with it alongwith gang-chart of the petitioner. Since the FIR discloses commission of cognizable offence, the same cannot be quashed.
The writ petition is misconceived and is accordingly dismissed. However, it is provided that if the petitioner surrenders and moves application for bail, the same shall be considered and dispose of by the courts below, expeditiously.
