JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :-
"[a] allow this petition with cost in favour of the petitioner : and/or [b] direct respondent no. 1 to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of higher pay scale w.e.f. 20.01.1992 considering the representation dated 26.10.2010 and 02.11.2010 and proposal made by the respondent no. 2 vide letter dated 13.03.2011 to the respondent no. 1: and/or [c] direct the respondent no. 1 authority to grant all retiral benefits after modifying the Govt. Order dated 02.07.1998 granting first higher pay scale to the petitioner as per the proposal made by the respondent no. 2 to respondent no. 1 as petitioner is going to retire from the Govt. Service on 30.06.2012: and /or [d] pending admission and final hearing of this petition direct the respondent no. 1 authority to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of first higher pay scale as per the proposal dated 13.03.2011 made by respondent no. 2 to the respondent no. 1 : and /or [e] ......."
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. The reliefs which are claimed in this petition cannot be granted since they are prohibited by the law of limitation. Thus, only on the ground of limitation the petition is dismissed. It is however, observed that though a suggestion was put forward by the Court to the petitioner withdraw the present petition and file fresh petition with modified prayer, the same was not accepted by the petitioner. Hence, the petition is dismissed.
