ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services duly condoning break in service of the petitioner as Work Inspector (Non-Technical) w.e.from 13.11.1991 with all consequential benefits such as promotion etc. as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and contrary to Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India.
It is agreed by both the learned counsel appearing for the parties that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by order dated 14.07.2014 passed by this Court in W.P.No. 19425 of 2014.
In view of the above, this writ petition is allowed in terms of the said order with the direction that the observations made therein shall be read as part of this order. The respondents are directed to regularize the services of the petitioner as Work Inspector (Non-Technical) with effect from 13.11.1991 duly condoning the break in service, with all consequential benefits. In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
