Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the amount towards Provident Fund, Gratuity, Earned Leave Salary, Family Pension and other monetary benefits on account of death of the petitioner's husband, P.Dayalan, together with interest at the rate of 13% per annum from the date of death till the date of payment within the time frame to be fixed by this court.

Pleader- for R1 & R2 O R D E R Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the amount towards Provident Fund, Gratuity, Earned Leave Salary, Family Pension and other monetary benefits on account of the death of her husband, P.Dayalan, together with interest at the rate of 13% per annum from the date of death till the date of payment, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already given her representation to the respondents on 28.03.2017, however, the respondents have not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the respondents 2 and 3 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
