JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Hon’ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy Writ Petition No.39806 of 2014 Dated: 27.12.2014 Between:
D.Ramanjaneyulu ..
Petitioner and The State of Telangana, rep. by its Prl.Secretary, Civil Supplies Dept., Hyderabad and 3 others.
.. Respondents Counsel for the petitioner: Mr.K.Venumadhav Counsel for respondents: G.P. for Civil Supplies (TS) The court made the following:
Order:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside Proceeding No.J/3209/2013, dated 20.12.2014, of respondent No.3 whereby she has cancelled the petitioner’s fair price shop authorization.
At the hearing, it is not disputed by Sri K.Venumadhav, learned Counsel for the petitioner, that against the impugned proceeding, the petitioner has a remedy of appeal under Clause 20(2) of the Andhra Pradesh State Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2008, and a further remedy of revision against the order passed in the appeal.
In view of availability of alternative remedies, I am not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition for adjudication on merits. However, since the respondents have issued the notification for filling up the vacancy, they are directed not to proceed with the said notification till disposal of the appeal that may be filed by the petitioner.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.49924 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
