Pramod Chandra, SPP-II for R1) This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to quash the entire proceedings initiated pursuant to complaint filed by the 2nd respondent against the petitioners in C.C.No.191/2014 now pending on the file of Civil Judge (Jr.Dn) and JMFC, Kanakapura, for offences punishable under Section 324, 354, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of IPC.
This Criminal petition coming on for Admission, this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R Learned counsel for the petitioners is absent.
Perused the petition.
2. Petitioners have sought to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.191/2014 pending on the file of the Civil Judge (Jr.Dn.) & JMFC, Kanakapura, for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 354, 504, 506 r/w 34 of IPC.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned SPP-II appearing for respondent No.1 submits that after trial all the petitioners are acquitted of the above charges vide judgment and order dated 23.05.2017 in C.C.No.191/2014.
In view of the above submission, nothing survives for consideration in this petition. Accordingly, petition is dismissed.
