... Respondents (By Sri.Y.D.Harsha, AGA for R1 to R6) This Writ Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct respondents to pay outstanding of Rs.36,44,220/- with interest at the rate of 24% p.a. to the petitioner immediately and etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing in ‘B’ Group this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the petitioner.
Sri.Y.D.Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents.
Perused the records.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter-alia has prayed for the following reliefs:
“a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to pay outstanding of Rs.36,44,220/- with interest at the rate of 24% p.a. to the Petitioner immediately.
b) Grant such other relief/s that this Honarable Court deems fit and necessary in the circumstance of the case including the costs of the Petition.”
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that in case the petitioner submits a representation with regard to claim for payment of the amount in question, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioner submits a representation to the Chief Engineer, P.W.D. Department, K. R. Circle, Bengaluru with regard to his grievance within a period of three weeks from the date of the receipt of the certified copy of the order passed today, the aforesaid authority shall decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of four weeks therefrom.
