For Petitioners : Mr.T.Ramachandran For Respondent : Mr.C.Emalias, Addl. Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a charge sheet in Crime No.393 of 2016.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that based on a false complaint given by one Karthick, the respondent police registered a case as against the petitioners in Crime No.393 of 2016. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 27.3.2016, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.393 of 2016 pending on his file and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
