JUDGMENT / ORDER

K.K. SASIDHARAN,J.
The petitioner submitted application for Community Certificate for his son on 22 May 2017 on the strength of the Community Certificate issued to the relatives. Since action was not taken pursuant to the application, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the application would be disposed of by the fifth respondent within a period of two weeks from today [14 June 2017].
3. We direct the fifth respondent to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
