JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2012 within a reasonable period as specified by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties.
3. Since the prayer sought for in this writ petition is only for consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2012 and to pass orders within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, this Court is inclined to dispose this writ petition, without going to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.06.2012 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders therein within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
