JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India.
2. By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the 4th respondent not to harass the petitioner in the matter of sale of machine as evidenced by Exts.P1 to P7. Petitioner's case is that at the instance of respondents 2 and 3, petitioner was called by the police authorities and harassed.
3. Learned ASGI, after obtaining instructions submitted that on a complaint received from the private respondents, the petitioner was called at the police station. After recording the statement of the complainant, it was found that the dispute between the parties is of civil nature and the parties have been advised accordingly. It is also submitted that the matter has been closed on 20/10/2014 and no further steps are being taken in that regard.
In view of the aforesaid, there is no reason to continue this writ petition and hence the same is closed.
