JUDGMENT / ORDER

K.K.SASIDHARAN,J.
The petitioner submitted an application before the respondent on 2 February 2015 requesting to issue a Community Certificate. Since further action was not taken by the respondent, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.
2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.
3. We direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner, dated 2 February 2015, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
