JUDGMENT / ORDER

The first defendant in O.S.No.223 of 2012 on the file of II Additional District Court, Salem, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the suit, within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the plaintiff filed the suit in O.S.No.223 of 2012 for partition and that except the 12th defendant all the other defendants have field their written statement. The learned counsel further submitted that in view of the long pendency of the matter, the plaintiff is put to hardship and prejudice.
3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the II Additional District Court, Salem, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.223 of 2012, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. .
