JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide adequate police protection. The petitioner apprehends threat from third parties since he had received a phone call asking him to part with a huge amount. Petitioner being the Managing Director of SMB Groups has also participated in the recent assembly elections. In this connection, he had already lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 03.08.2017 since the same has not been considered till date, he is constrained to file the present petition.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. The petitioner's compliant dated 03.08.2017 has to be looked into by the second respondent and this Court exercising its inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C. cannot step into the shoes of the second respondent.
4. However, in view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the second respondent is hereby directed to look into the complainant of the petitioner dated 03.08.2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
