JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, a retired Government servant complains of a number of anomalies and defects in the Order G.O. (P). No.38/2014/Tran., dated 19.05.2014, which has revised and enhanced the existing bus fares with effect from 20.05.2014. A number of anomalies are pointed out in the manner of fixing the fare stages. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 representation, which is pending before the 2nd respondent. He seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration thereof. I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.
2. Since Ext.P2 is pending consideration of the 2nd respondent, it is only appropriate that the grievance of the petitioner is considered and appropriate orders passed thereon without delay.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.P2 representation and to pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner also.
