Aggrieved by the notice to vacate the land, which, according to the petitioner, is occupied by him, the petitioner has come up before this Court.
2. The petitioner alleges that he is the owner in possession of 46.14 ares of land in old Sy.No.430/2 of Tholur Village in Thrissur District. According to the petitioner, when he obtained the sketch of resurvey measurement of his property, he found that the total extent was reduced showing a portion of his property as road having a width of 30 links on the northern side instead of 10 links; and therefore, he filed a revision before the District Collector under Section 13A of the Survey and Boundaries Act, 1961, to rectify the same. The petitioner also alleges that he had applied for permit for construction of compound wall to prevent further loss and the construction of compound wall is completed after leaving W.P.(C) No. 30424 of 2011 ..2..

3. In the counter filed by the 1st respondent, they have admitted the pendency of the revision before the District Collector.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the District Collector to consider and dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner within a time frame.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent, the District Collector, to consider and dispose of the Ext.P4 filed by the petitioner after affording the petitioner and the other affected parties including the respondent Panchayat an opportunity of being heard within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Till the entire exercise is completed, both parties shall maintain the existing state of affairs.
