JUDGMENT / ORDER

This contempt petition is filed seeking to punish the respondent for having willfully disobeyed the orders of this court dated 13.06.2016 made in Crl.O.P.No.12060 of 2016.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of this court has been complied with and on the complaint given by Tamil Selvi, a case has been registered in crime P.N.PRAKASH.J., No.375 of 2017 by the Sub Inspector of Police, Thiruchengodu Town Police Station, for offence u/s 120B, 406, 465, 468, 471 and 420 of IPC.
3. On a perusal of the FIR, it is seen that the FIR has been registered based on court's endorsement. Perhaps, the police fearing that they may be hauled for contempt must have registered the FIR. Be that at it may, the Inspector of Police, Tiruchengodu Town Police Station, is directed to thoroughly conduct the investigation in Cr.No.375 of 2017 and if it is found that the allegations are civil in nature, it is open to them to close the case and serve the RCS notice on the de facto complainant. If during investigation, it is found that the allegations made by the de facto complainant are true, it is needless to state that a final report may be filed in accordance with law.
4. With the above observations and directions, this Contempt Petition is closed.
