The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter-alia with the prayer to quash the order dated 08.12.2005 passed by respondent no. 3 transferring him from Civil Police to Armed Police.
When the matter was taken up on 19.12.2005, following order was passed :
"Learned Standing Counsel represents all the respondents. He prays for and is granted two weeks time to file counter affidavit. Rejoinder affidavit may be filed within three days thereafter.
List on 17th January, 2006.
In the meantime, the petitioner may make a representation, ventilating all his grievances, before Inspector General of Police, Kanpur Zone, Kanpur within a three days from today, along with a certified copy of this order. On such a representation being made the Inspector General of Police, Kanpur Zone, Kanpur shall consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within two weeks from the date the representation is so made."
No affidavit has been filed by the petitioner as to whether any representation has been made by him and what order has been passed by the respondent authority, pursuant to the order of this Court, as quoted above.
In this view of the matter, the Court is of the opinion that no further is required to be passed in the matter.
The writ petition is dismissed.
