Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned standing counsel.
The issue involved in the present writ petition pertains to transfer of various police personnels without approval of the Police Establishment Board being in the teeth of the jugdment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Prakash Singh and others vs. Union of India and others, (2006)8 SCC 1. It is already drawing the attention of this Court in large number of petitions wherein counter affidavit has been called and interim order has been passed.
Considering the facts the petitioner are also entitled the same order.

The respondents may file counter affidavit within four weeks. Petitioners will have three weeks' thereafter to file rejoinder affidavit. List for admission after the expiry of the aforesaid period.
Meanwhile considering the facts and circumstances, till the next date of listing the petitioners shall not be relieved from their present place of posting in pursuance to the transfer orders dated 25.1.2010 and 13.5.2010.
