Heard learned counsel for the applicants.
This petition alleges disobedience of an interim order dated 11 August 2017 in terms of which an order dated 27 July 2017 was stayed till the next date of listing. From the supplementary affidavit filed today, it is contended that the interim order continues to subsists. The allegations of contempt however, is that once the order of 27 July 2017 has been stayed there came into existence an obligation upon the respondents to restore the status-quo ante and to give effect to the order of 3 October 2015. These and other issues which touch upon the merits of dispute between parties cannot possibly be adjudicated upon in the contempt petition.
The petition is misconceived and is consequently dismissed.
