The petitioner is a regular permit holder, who was granted temporary permit on the route Kodungallur- Kozhikode, pending consideration of renewal application, which is valid till 30.11.2014 and had made an application for re-issue of the temporary permit, by Ext.P2. The said application has been made on 17.11.2014, it is submitted that no steps are taken and the temporary permit already obtained would soon expire. 3. In such circumstances, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application of the petitioner and re-issue temporary permit, pending consideration of the renewal application, in accordance with law, within a period of one week from today.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
