This review petition is filed by the appellant. It is pointed out in the review petition that even though this court has granted enhancement of the compensation, nothing has been mentioned about the interest for the enhanced amount.

2. We heard the learned counsel for the respondent also.

3. We grant interest @ 9% per annum from the date of petition for the amount awarded as compensation. The judgment is modified to that extent and the R.P. is accordingly disposed of.
