JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to quash the order passed by the 2nd respondent in E-MAIL MESSAGE No.E- 38024/TOT/Estt.II/2017/1580, dated 28.03.2017 in so far as the petitioner is concerned and to direct the respondents to retain the petitioner, at Mahendragiri for one year and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.03.2017.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Central Government Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Central Government Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that after filing of the Writ petition, the Assistant Inspector General /Training, has passed an order in No.E-37015/Trg.III/B.Trg Ct(GD)/2017-972, dated 12.04.2017, exempting the petitioner and others from interview. It is further submitted that the petitioner is retained at Mahendragiri in the same place where the petitioner is working.
4. Having regard to the proceedings in No.E-37015/Trg.III/B.Trg Ct(GD)/2017-972, dated 12.04.2017, the prayer in the Writ petition has become infructuous and hence, the Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
