The petitioner was granted a building permit, Ext.P1 for construction of a building. However, the building was not constructed. The petitioner has therefore applied for renewal of the building permit. The renewal was also granted as per Ext.P2. The project has not been completed even within the extended period of time. Therefore, the petitioner has applied for a further extension of the period by three more years. The said application is pending. 2. Adv.S.Shanavas Khan appears for the Municipality. The counsel assures that the petitioner's application would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed thereon, in accordance with law.
In view of the above this writ petition is disposed of WPC 25434/2014 2 directing the second respondent to consider Ext.P3 application submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
