(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner seeks a direction for directing the respondents herein to erect the name board 'Chekkaravilai' to his village. He had already given representation dated 21.12.2016 in this regard.
2.The writ petitioner had fairly enclosed a copy of the order dated 25.10.2016 made in W.P.(MD).No.20646 of 2014 and W.P.(MD).No.10313 of 2016. This Court had observed that the revenue records are clear and that the dispute with regard to putting up of the name board for the village in question is on account of certain private controversies. Therefore, both the writ petitions were dismissed by common order dated 25.10.2016. Though the petitioner herein was not a party to the earlier writ proceedings, in as much as a learned Judge of this Court had already gone into the issue, another writ petition cannot be entertained on the same cause of action. It is open to the writ petitioner to approach the Civil Court and obtain relief.
3.With this observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
