Present application has been preferred by the applicant for condonation of delay stating that there is a delay of 17 days in preferring Civil Revision Application (Stamp) No.901/2000. Reasons as to why Civil Revision Application (Stamp) No.901/2000 could not be filed in time are stated on oath by the applicant. 2.I have heard learned counsel for the applicants and also gone through the reasons mentioned in this Civil Application on oath regarding condonation of delay. Keeping in mind the principles governing the exercise of discretionary powers under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been stated for not filing the Civil Revision Application in time and in view of the uncontroverted versions on which delay is sought to be condoned, it is required that delay caused in filing Civil Revision Application is to be condoned.
3.For the aforesaid reasons, application is allowed. Delay caused in filing Civil Revision Application (Stamp) No.901/2000 is condoned. Accordingly this application is allowed. Rule made absolute.
4.The office is directed to place Civil Revision Application ( Stamp ) No.901/2000 for admission hearing on 18th September, 2000.
