(Per : HON'BLE MISS JUSTICE R.M.DOSHIT) This Application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act has been preferred by the applicant-appellant for condonation of delay of 339 days. The impugned judgment and order was passed on 16th January, 2002. Application for certified copy thereof was made on 11th February, 2002. Certified copy was ready for delivery on 18th February, 2002. The same was received on 10th April, 2002. The delay in receiving the certified copy has not been explained nor has the delay occurred since the receipt of the certified copy been explained. The only reason given out is that a large number of Valuation Appeals are preferred every year and that the matter had to move through the administrative procedure.
We are of the view that the aforesaid reasons given out in the Application are too vague and do not explain the gross delay of 339 days satisfactorily. Application is rejected.
