The petitioner has come forward with this review application seeking to review the order dated 20.07.2017 in W.P.No.6175 of 2017 and W.M.P.No.6687 of 2017 on the file of this Court.
2. Without going into the maintainability of the review application and also reserving the liberty to the petitioners in the review application, with regard to the question of locus-standi of the writ petitioners, this Court makes it clear that what is referred to in the order in Rc.No.B3/5734/2017 dated 05/09/2017 passed by Ms.S.Jayandhi, Additional Chief Secretary/ Commissioner of Land Administration, in paragraph 2 is only with regard to the order dated 14.03.2017 and the relevant paragraph is extracted below:- "2) In this regard, you are instructed to maintain status quo till completion of enquiry as ordered by the Hon'ble High Court of Madras in W.P.No.6175 of 2017, on the petition of Thiru.V.Jesuran Smith Stanley dated 07.04.2015, since you have obtained adjournment during the hearing on 08.08.2017".
3. In the Writ Petition No.6175 of 2017, there is no status quo ordered on 14.03.2017, except the order which is extracted below for the sake of convenience:- "Completion of super structure and creation of 3rd party right in respect of the subject property in question, is subject to the result of the writ petition."
4. The parties are given liberty to put forth the defence available to them before the Additional Chief Secretary/ Commissioner of Land Administration, who is expected to decide the representation within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. At the request of the parties, that a specific date may be mentioned in the order of this Court, this Court directs the parties to appear before the said authority on 10.10.2017 and put forth their submissions and produce supportive documents if any, and the said authority shall pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks thereafter.
6. With the above observations and direction, this Review Application is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
