Thangaraj aged about 37 years who is detained in Central prison, Salem, before this Hon'ble court and set him at liberty forthwith by calling for the records pursuant to the detention order made in C.M.P.NO. 62/Goonda/Salem City/2016 dated 09.08.2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same, before this court and set him at liberty.

Habeas corpus petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed by the second respondent against the detenue – Ayyanar S/O. Thangaraj in C.M.P.NO. 62/Goonda/Salem City/2016 dated 09.08.2016.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the impugned order of detention has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4663, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.09.2016. Copy of the said Government Order, submitted to this Court, shall form part of the record.
3. Recording the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
