JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is the 9th accused in Crime No.295 of 2013 of the Vengara Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 120B read with Sec.34 of the Indian Penal Code, is in custody from 01.05.2014 and seeks bail. 2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
It is submitted that the petitioner and others deceitfully and fraudulently obtained Rs.93.5 lakhs on various dates agreeing to return double that amount. It is submitted that along with accused 5 to 8, petitioner also acted as if they are policemen to induce the de facto complainant part with the amount.
3. Learned counsel submitted that the allegations are not true.
4. In the nature of the allegations made against the petitioner and the investigation required to be done, request for bail cannot allowed at this stage.
Application is dismissed.
