Heard learnd counsel for the parties.
Today when the matter was taken up Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel, placed before this Court the instructions received from the office of respondent-Jal Nigam. He also placed the photo-copy of the cheque dated 21.12.2021 issued in favour of the petitioner for a sum of Rs.32,5,995/-.
From perusal of the same, it is clear that relief sought by the petitioner has already been granted hence no further order is required to be passed.
In this view of the matter, present writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
