Heard Sri Jata Shankar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
The present writ petition has been filed for writ of certiorari quashing the entire consolidation proceedings of the village Machwal Patti, Majhlee, Pargana Kera Magraur, Tehsil Chakia, District Chandauli.
It reflects from the record that the village was notified under Section 4 (2) of the U.P. C.H. Act on 23.4.2005. The consolidation operation had been started since 2005, the petitioner has not challenged the notification issued under Section 4(2) of the Act and after more than 14 years the entire proceedings in the said village cannot be quashed.
The prayer made in the present writ petition is totally misconceived.
The writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
