Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Diwakar Singh for the Goan Sabha as also learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding / directing the respondent no.2, i.e. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Phoolpur, Allahabad to decide the Case No.85 of 2017 ( Phool Chandra and others Vs. Gaon Sabha and others) under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, Mauja Gamrahta, Pargana Sikandra, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Prayagraj/ Allahabad within a time bound frame."
Petitioner is aggrieved as his application under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 filed in the year 2017 has not been decided finally, till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, i.e. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Phoolpur, Allahabad to endeavour to decide the case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
