JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 59
Case :- CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 3125 of 2018 Applicant :- Chhedi Lal Opposite Party :- Batesar Alias Sanjeev Kumar Counsel for Applicant :- Diwakar Mishra
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
This petition alleges disobedience of an order passed by the Board of Revenue on 18 December 2009. Quite apart from the fact that this order was to operate only till the next date, the Court finds no ground to initiate proceedings in contempt since the Board of Revenue being the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority in the State is sufficiently empowered to ensure compliance and enforcement of its own orders.
Petition is consequently dismissed with liberty to the applicant to approach the Board of Revenue.
Order Date :- 30.5.2018 Arun K. Singh
