The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to remove the walls on a road existing in village Tammarpur, Post Thekma, Tehsil Martinganj, District Azamgarh, which the petitioners allege to be a public road.
In this regard, the petitioners have filed representation dated 3.5.2018 before the District Magistrate, Azamgarh.
It would serve no purpose to keep the writ petition pending, and without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Magistrate, Azamgarh to decide the representation dated 3.5.2018 filed by the petitioners expeditiously.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
