ORDER: (per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta)
The alleged contemnor is personally present with a counter-affidavit. We have seen it immediately and we are satisfied with his explanation that he has carried out the Court’s order, in spite of inadvertent omission of the learned Government Pleader in communicating the same. It is also recorded that after passing appropriate order, the same has been sent to the petitioner by registered post.
Therefore, we close this Contempt Case without proceeding further. However, it would be open for the petitioner on receipt of the copy of the order, to take steps in accordance with law, as may be advised, if required.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand dismissed.
