The appellant and the 9th respondent are present before the court and they are identified by their respective counsel. They stated that they compromised the matter as per the terms and conditions of memorandum of compromise filed in ASMP.No.2240 of 2014 and sought for disposal of the appeal. The terms of compromise stated in ASMP.No.2240 of 2014 are recorded. It is stated by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appeal is not pressed against the respondents 2 to 6 and 8 as they are not necessary parties to the appeal.
Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of in terms of the compromise in ASMP.No.2240 of 2014 and the appeal stands dismissed against the respondents 2 to 6 and 8 as not pressed. No costs.
