This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the respondents-authorities in seeking to dispossess the petitioners from their lands in various survey numbers of Rebala village, Buchhireddypalem Mandal, Nellore District, without following the due procedure. No interim orders were granted by this Court in the matter.
2. While so, the Mandal Revenue Officer, Buchhireddypalem Mandal, filed a counter wherein she stated that the authorities were not interfering with private land and that the action was only being initiated to take over the Cooperative Joint Farming Society lands of Rebala Village after due measurement and peg marking and that the petitioners could have no objection thereto.
3. In the light of the above stand in the counter-affidavit, the writ petition is closed duly making the said averment part of the record. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
