JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is accused in Crime No.24 of 2014 of the Kumbla Excise Range Office for the offence punishable under Sec.55(a) of the Kerala Abkari Act for alleged possession of 50 liters of spirit on 20.05.2014 at about 1.30.p.m, is in custody since then and seeks bail.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
It is submitted that contraband was seized from the possession of the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel requested for bail.
4. In view of the circumstances of the case including the materials collected, as the application is opposed and investigation is not completed, request of the petitioner for bail cannot be allowed at this stage.
The application is dismissed without prejudice to the petitioner moving again after the investigation has progressed.
