The petitioner is the defacto complainant.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner, by his letter dated 30.08.2017, requested the registry to list the above Criminal Original Petition for withdrawal, on the ground that the complainant and prosecution parties have arrived at a compromise and the dispute between them was settled out of Court. The Learned counsel for the appellant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement on the petition to that effect.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Crl.A.SR.23743 of 2017 is rejected.
