Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Up-Ziladhikari, Bilari, district Moradabad to decide Election Petition No. T- 2016135402220/2016, Charan Singh Vs. Arjun Singh and others filed under Section 12-C of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act expeditiously.
Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Up-Ziladhikari, Bilari, Moradabad is directed to decide the aforesaid petition, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law, preferably within six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him provided there is no other legal impediment.
With the aforesaid observations, present writ petition stands disposed of.
