Change India vs The Secretary To Higher Education

Madras High Court|03 January, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner at length. In the midst of the selection process, we are not inclined to interfere merely because one of the Members of the Search Committee resigned. The tenor of the letter sent by the person who has resigned as a Member of the Search Committee seems to suggest his working equation problems with the Chairperson, rather than anything substantive.
In view of the aforesaid, the petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.38584 and 38585 of 2016 are closed.
1. The Secretary to Higher Education Government of Tamil Nadu Secretariat, Chennai-600 009.
2. The Principal Secretary to Governor Governor's Secretariat, Raj Bhavan Chennai-600 025.
THE HON'BLE CHIEF JUSTICE AND M.SUNDAR,J.
