This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to expedite the Criminal Case No. 90 of 2018 (State vs. Zahid and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 232 of 2017, under 498A, 323, 504, 506, 354, 376 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act, pending before Chief Judicial Magistrate, Room No. VII, Meerut.
It is submitted that the applicant is informant in the present case and father of the victim. From the record it appears that the chargesheet has been submitted on 31.10.2017.
I do not find any reason to fix any time period for disposal of trial, however, keeping in view that the victim is lady, the application stands disposed of directing the court concerned to expedite the aforesaid case and conclude the same, at the earliest possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, by fixing short dates provided there is no legal impediment.
