Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Junagadh has arrived to the conclusion that the petitioner is earning Rs.10,000/- pm without any material or evidence on record. He further submits that the order of awarding maintenance of Rs.3,000/- and Rs.1,000/- pm to wife and minor respectively by the learned Judge is illegal. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a washer-man in the city of Junagadh and shouldering the responsibility to look after his parents.
2. Per contra, learned advocate for the respondent-wife submits that the learned Judge has rightly awarded maintenance amount to wife and minor considering the nature of job and status of the petitioner.

Having heard learned advocates for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the opinion that though the case deserves consideration finally, at this juncture, I am inclined to direct the petitioner to pay, in all, Rs.3,000/- pm instead of Rs.4,000/- towards maintenance.
Post the matter for final hearing on 30th March, 2012.
