Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.
The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:
"(A) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 and 3 to release compensation amount in S.N. 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 mention in serve list Nagar Palika Parishad Mirzapur Vindhya Karidoor Pakka Ghat/ Kachauri Gali at Maa Vindhya Vasani Temple Vindhyachal District Mirzapur.
(B) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 and 3 to decide the application dated 21.6.2021 filed by the petitioner (Annexure-5 to the writ petition) within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The said prayer cannot be granted except prayer 'B' at this stage.
We direct the respondent Nos.2/District Magistrate and respondent no.3/City Magistrate, Mirzapur to decide the application, except prayer A, of the petitioner dated 21.6.2021 under the provisions of law within 6 weeks from today.
It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter at this stage.
With these observations, this petition is disposed of.
