Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.618 of 2016 in an effective manner in the background of mystery surrounding the death of his son Premkumar.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.618 of 2016, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate's Court. As requested by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, he has also furnished a copy of the post-mortern report to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. Since charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.618 of 2016, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed.
