Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2, Tehsildar, Belthra Road, District Ballia to decide the Case No. 9/2016 (State Vs. Chandra Shekhar) U/s 67 of the Revenue Code 2006, pending before him expeditiously within stipulated time as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
It has been submitted that the proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 against the petitioner are pending consideration since the year 2016.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
It is also provided that no adjournment shall be granted to the petitioner at all whatsoever in the pending proceedings.
