It appears that pursuant to an order of suspension passed against the petitioner on 21.2.2018, a charge-sheet has been served upon him on 9.7.2018, to which a reply has also been submitted on 21.7.2018. Grievance is that the inquiry has not been concluded even after expiry of sufficient period.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the inquiry would be got concluded expeditiously.
Considering the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.3 to ensure that the disciplinary inquiry pending against the petitioner is concluded within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate with the inquiry.
